The Lone Star Chapter of The Society, Incorporated, is a non-profit organization of women focused on nourishing communities through The Arts.
We believe The Arts empower; giving voice to the voiceless. It enables communities to maintain humanity, even as we move further into the digital age. And, given to some as a gift, can bring others such beauty and light, that it reaches beyond the senses and on to the souls of people.
Our mission is to celebrate, advance and support The Arts in the Dallas-FortWorth MetroPlex. We accomplish this through:
Support of the arts through donations and volunteerism at area arts organizations
Support of young people in the arts through mentorship, funding and exposure-building activities
Fundraising that enables us to help provide artists the support needed to grow
A strong focus on friendship and sisterhood within the organization, that helps us make each others' lives richer through shared adventures.
Join us in supporting the arts by attending our upcoming activities and monitoring the pages of our Featured Artists.
“If art is to nourish the roots of our culture, society must set the artist free to follow his vision wherever it takes him… We must never forget that art is not a form of propaganda; it is a form of truth.”
~ John F. Kennedy.
